To add to my desire to decorate for Chistmas...it snowed this week. The girls got all excited and dramatically expressed their desire to go out and play in it. I hunted down the snow pants, gloves, hats, scarves, boots, and coats. Then we went through the arduous task of getting them into their gear (think Ralphy and his little brother). Finally they were ready to go out and play. They joyfully burst through the door and frolicked....for about 10 minutes. They declared they were cold and came back in. Of course they then needed hot cocoa. I guess that's what makes the snow fun, getting cold and then getting hot cocoa. At least I got a few pictures before they gave up.

How fun! I can't wait for Christmas either!
ReplyDeleteI like the snow but I HATE getting my kids dressed to go outside and play!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute. I remember it taking so much longer to get ready to go in the snow than it did to play in the snow. Maybe that's why I never really liked the snow. You can keep all the snow until Christmas eve. :)
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Both times it's snowed, I've made the kids wait to play in it, only to have it melt away. Next time, we're going for it.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I love that they only stayed outside for 10 minutes...that's exactly how I am with the snow. I'm debating whether or not I want to get a pass to go snowboarding this year...maybe I'll just stay warm and toasty inside, instead!
