that pregnant women can't get sick beyond the pregnancy stuff. I mean, really, aren't we miserable enough without adding more on top of it? I have been sicker than a dog! How sick is a dog anyway, and where did that saying come from? Luckily for me my mother-in-law took the girls one afternoon and a great friend took them another afternoon. Also, it's been lucky the girls haven't gotten ill themselves. They are bored though because I haven't gone anywhere and friends can't come here. Hopefully it will go away soon, I would love to be able to breathe again.
Also, I didn't forget about my contest. I didn't have to draw any names because only 3 people responded. Jess, Aunt Marlene, and Lisa, I will be sending something soon. Probably a set of handmade cards. I can't think of anything else. If they turn out cute I will post pics so those that didn't respond can be jelous.:) Have a great conference weekend everyone!
Unfortunately, I don't have any help for the whole being sick thing, but if you want to hear one persons take on the expression 'sick as a dog', check this out: http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-sic1.htm
ReplyDeleteHope you get feeling better soon!
I would totally vote for a law like that. I feel yer pain, sista! Well, not currently...
ReplyDeleteSorry you've been so sick. There should definitely be a rule. That, or, the harder your pregnancy is, the easier the newborn stage should be.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you've been so sick! I tend to get bad sinus infections when I'm pregnant...I agree with you, don't we already have enough to deal with? I'm glad you've had a few days of rest. It's suppose to be a gorgeous day tomorrow, go sit in the sun!
ReplyDeletethat is no fun!! it always bugged me that morning sickness wasn't called all day sickness since mind never went away after morning.
ReplyDeletei hope your feeling better.
